I’m so happy my layout for Patoots and Joni has made it to the Gallery Standouts! I used Hootenany kit, a new release by Libby and Chere (watch out for it this Saturday).  Boy, I love this kit to pieces. I spent less than 2 hours making this LO! It’s THAT fantastic! And I have to post a special shout-out to Libby for posting my layout in the sneak peak thread at SSD.  I received lots of nice comments and feedbacks!  woopee!

For the second toot,  actually I knew about this since early August.  My other Libby Lou layout will be published in Artisan Notebook digital magazine this September! YEY!!!!  Wow, this is the first time my layout will be in publication… woohoo… I sent Libby a PM and shared the good news the very moment I got the notice.  Yay! Toot for us Libby!

Look what I made!  Recipe card for your favorite kitchenomics!  It’s actually my first attempt to make one and I loved it! I made it using Faith’s Deliciously Delightful kit with sample recipe from my food blog.

Can you believe it’s been 6 months since we left home and move to a foreign land we now call our new home. that’s half a year!  Surely time flies in a blink of an eye.  It’s been 6 months of emotional challenge knowing that we both miss the family back home every minute of the day.  We know that despite the challenges, this is the way to enable us to grow as a family…  Beyond the shield of protection we were so used to… together we build a destiny of our own.  We know deep in our hearts that the trials we face each day are stepping stones for us to have a better future.  Wow, we’re both proud to say we made a big leap and we stood by our decision… For as long as we hold each other’s hand, God will make everything possible for us…

P.S. Napagod si hubby sa pagbasa ng journal… sarap sapakin noh? *LOL*

So this is the 4th CT for the month of July.  I’m so overwhelmed!  And that’s a big STOP sign for me right here.  4 is more than enough

It was really nice to meet up with Angie (a.k.a. the queen of crop) when she had a 3 week vacation here in Toronto.  The last time I met her was Feb 2007 during the Bebots EB at Ortigas.  Wow, I can’t believe it’s been over a year already.  Surely time flies.  We met up at CN Tower and she introduced her hubby and cousin-in-law to us briefly before we went separate ways.  Just like our last EB, non-stop chika and catch-ups.  And the husband clicked well with Angie too.  So he’s also part of the chikadoras. haha…  We talked about our recent whereabouts, life stories, digiscrap chismis, just about anything.  We both brought our gears so we had the chance to shoot around and exchange some photography ideas.  Had a hefty meal at one of the chinese restaurants at Chinatown and coffee at famous Tim Horton’s.  Then we proceeded to our “cozy” apartment and waited for her HD to pick her up.  She shared a couple of her shots from her brother-in-law’s wedding and some post processing tips.  My, it works wonders! I’m using the same method now to process my photos into black and white! :)  And oh, she also shared a few pictures of their newly acquired house!  Yay!  I’m so happy for you Angie!  And I’m sure you’ll have lots of fun decorating the place.  I can’t wait to see ‘em so don’t forget to post some photos.

It was a short half day get together and it was really nice meeting an old friend again, especially considering we live miles apart (ok norway isn’t really that far from here I guess).  Till the next time.  The queen said she’ll be back for another family event and I can’t wait to see her again.

Here are the wonderful designers who accepted me in their creative teams.   Coincidentally, they’re both selling at TDC! Wow, I’m officially a creative chick!  haha…

They’re both wonderful designers and I’m just so delighted to be working with them!  I’ve been scrapping madly for the month of July… it’s another record breaker month coz I made 14 layouts in total!  I’ll share them in my monthly round-up post. Stay tuned!

I’m off to play Mario Cart Wii with the husband now.  We’re addicted!!!
